For this 3rd edition of ceramic brussels, NIKA Project Space will present works by Mirna Bamieh and Nika Neelova.

Bamieh uses ceramics as a way to hold the traces of food practices, memory, and disappearance. In her work, clay becomes an extension of the kitchen and the table, shaped by processes such as pickling, fermenting, and preserving that often appear in her projects.

Alongside her, Neelova presents sculptural works that often draw on fragments of architecture, archaeology, and geological time. She works with materials such as clay, glass, fossilised remains and cast forms, reshaping them into objects that feel both ancient and speculative.
