Artist Biography

Alix Marie works across photography, sculpture, and installation. Combining historical and material research, her practice engages with mythology and enduring narratives to explore themes of metamorphosis, hybridity, and the body as a site of transformation. Her large-scale installations are shaped by the dialogue between materials, techniques, and the histories of the spaces in which they are first presented.
