Conversation: Daniele Genadry & Nadine El Khoury

Next Thursday, January 15, 6 PM, we are pleased to host a conversation between artist Daniele Genadry and curator Nadine El Khoury at NIKA Project Space in Dubai.
The duo will discuss Genadry’s practice and her approach to landscape through light, perception, and visual uncertainty, in relation to ecology, mediation, and the themes of the current group exhibition Hybrid Vistas.

About The Speakers

Nadine El Khoury is a curator and researcher working at the intersection of contemporary art and ecology, with a focus on botanical knowledge, environmental humanities, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Her practice centers on research-driven exhibitions, long-term commissions, and partnerships with artists, scientists, and local communities. She was previously part of the curatorial team at Jameel Arts Centre, contributing to exhibitions, commissions, and publications. She is currently an Associate Curator at the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi.

Daniele Genadry (b. 1980, Lebanon, lives and works in Paris) works across painting, photography, and print. Her practice examines ways of seeing shaped by postwar Lebanon, with a focus on light, time, and perception. Her work has been shown at Jameel Arts Center, Beirut Art Center, Sharjah Biennial 13, Sursock Museum, SMBA, the Bronx Museum, and Fondazione Pastificio Cerere. She is an assistant professor of studio arts at the American University of Beirut. |
