While the prevalent notion of preserving architecture's iconic structures has resulted in a decline of the unique and adaptable architectural traditions in the Global South, which are directly influenced by culture, location, and climate, they have historically been overshadowed by the emphasis on architectural permanence common in the Global North. These indigenous techniques, molded by the everyday routines, climate conditions, and accessible materials, present innovative design remedies for the numerous obstacles encountered by our communities.
