Artist Biography

Lubnah Ansari is an interdisciplinary artist, filmmaker, and researcher whose practice spans moving image, installation, sculpture, sound, and text. Her practice examines the historical and contemporary relationships between South Asia and the Gulf, exploring how migration, coloniality, religion, and political memory are negotiated through archives, language, and embodied experience.
