Open Studio Residency 2026

This summer, for the second time around, NIKA Project Space in Dubai transforms into a dynamic studio, providing artists based in the UAE with a dedicated space for experimentation and dialogue with the audience.

 

The artists will be selected through our recent open call, which closed on May 18. The participants will be chosen by a jury of professionals: Rahel Aima (critic, editor, and co-director of the Bayt Al Mamzar Writing Residency), Ramin Rokni Hesam (artist collective), and Katherine Volk (art specialist, cultural advisor, and managing editor of Canvas magazine).
