Nomin Zezegmaa Wins the RAK Art Foundation Prize 2025

Congratulations to Nomin Zezegmaa, recipient of the RAK Art Foundation Prize 2025, awarded during this year’s edition of Asia NOW in Paris.

The Prize is granted to two artists participating in the fair whose work embodies heritage, continuity, and craftsmanship. It offers a one-month residency at The Art Station in Bahrain, where the artists will collaborate with local artisans to develop new works grounded in traditional practices and material knowledge. These works will later be presented in an exhibition at the RAK Art Foundation in Bahrain.

By honoring artists who bridge cultural memory and contemporary creation, the Prize encourages dialogue between artistic traditions and today’s creative practices, fostering meaningful cultural exchange between international artists and Bahraini craftsmanship.
